When I started my teaching journey, I never imagined that I would find myself remotely teaching preschool to 3, 4 and 5 year old students from home! While teaching remotely, it is important to gave my students the same type of experience they would have at school. The Circle Time Learning Center would bring that school feeling to my living room. Having the same types of manipulatives and resources we use in school would benefit my math and language lessons. I can incorporate items for instance, that start with the letter "A" by having the letter tubs at my fingertips! By using the Social Emotional Library, I can still focus on my students emotions. The magnetic counters can be used during video lessons about math.
At the moment, I am teaching with materials I had at home! March 12th was the last day my students were in class. School is now closed for the remainder of the year. I want my students to finish the year strong. I am trying to work with what I have at home, but it isn’t the same as having quality materials to teach with.
