Books are an incredible treasure I can provide my students. I have so many books to share with my students, but I need an organized way to display these incredible treasures. I teach in an area where the vast majority of my students do not have any books at home. I love for my students to find books they love so much they want to take the books home and share them with their families. In order for this to happen, I must establish a culture which teaches my students what a treasure books are and how important it is they take great care of these special treasure so others can enjoy the treasure as well. By displaying the books on special shelves where our treasures go, students will understand how special books are. I want the students to feel they are going to our special treasure chest (the bookshelves and storage cubes) that are full of magical gifts that must be valued and cared for!
