I have 15 very young five year olds. They come from difficult backgrounds and challenging learning environments, yet show up everyday to eagerly learn what I have to teach. I use whatever I can to teach them. I am currently writing lines on a white board and trying not to erase as I write words on them. We struggle with trying to follow the curriculum without a place to put a pocket chart and the difficulty of putting things within reach to teach a whole lesson. My school is struggling with attracting students. The kindergarten team is trying to create a program that will not only draw new students in but create an amazing foundation for the students promoting to first grade. I believe that this mindset will change the school one grade at a time, one student at a time. I am a very determine teacher and will go above and beyond to make sure that my students have an amazing kinder year of learning and fun. With this donation you will help my with this goal.
