"Creativity is Intelligence having fun!" This famous quote from Albert Einstein is one that now guides my daily thinking. As I began planning learning goals and high level activities for my students this year, I knew that one of my goals was to use their unique gifts and talents to motivate them as learners. In my experience, I have come to know that all children have a gift. For some students, these gifts are directly related to the academics we explore daily, and sometimes they are not. It is true, however, that all their gifts can be used to motivate them as learners. Through this project, is my hope to acquire materials to motivate students to learn, be creative, and most importantly, have fun with their intelligence!! I want them to understand how developing their unique gifts and talents can move them forward in all aspects of life.
