This will help my ELL’s dig deeper into what they are reading—uncovering layers of meaning and developing a deeper understanding of complex texts! With the rich variety of fiction and informational texts my student’s interest will increase. The close-reading activities will help my students to refer back to the text to write in-depth about main ideas, make inferences, and examine different text structures. ELL's always need the extra push to help them understand what they are reading and this bundle will help meet the needs of all my students. With English not being their first language, they sometimes struggle to comprehend.
