My third graders are enthusiastic and come to school ready to learn! Rose is a high-poverty Title I school with over ninety percent of our population receiving free or reduced lunch. A majority of my students are English Language Learners. Eighty percent of my students entered third grade reading below grade level. Yet, every day my students come to school eager to learn and continue to work hard. Myself, the staff, teachers, and students at our school are working together to make annual growth and close the achievement gap.
