My students are in grades 1-3 and seeing me model writing, math and text is extremely important. We are currently teaching/learning remotely and more than ever the students need to "see" how to do their work. They see me modeling the assignment in a small box on Microsoft Teams on their computer screen but if I had a document camera then I could share what I am doing on a full screen. A document camera will provide an easy, clear, effective way to share valuable learning information. I can use it while modeling math lessons, showing the steps on solving problems. The students need to see what I am teaching them. I want to share this information that is not shareable in any other way.
