By tapping into my students strength, visual learning, and providing a motivational tool, such as a light table, they will certainly increase their ability to attend to these sometimes difficult tasks. I first realized my students would love and benefit from a light table when I made a not so sturdy do it yourself model. Although the kids really loved it, it did not hold up for more than a couple of weeks. If I can provide my students with a "real" light table and accessories, I know they will be more engaged and interactive for those skills that can be practiced and taught with a light table.
