Our school has started to incorporate many initiatives for our students including personalized mastery, capturing kids hearts, action based learning, and 1:1 learning. Staff and students use iPads throughout the day. As a school, we try to incorporate several different technologies in lessons. I once heard, "Reading is the greatest technology!" I want physical books to still be a part of my students learning. Many students are below grade level, these books will help me update my classroom library that has become outdated during my seven years of teaching to continue to promote a love of reading! My students are amazing and make me smile everyday! They are hard working and enthusiastic, but many are below grade level and struggle with math and reading especially.
