I teach 32 third graders in a high-need, low-income, urban public school. Many of my students come from single family homes and lack the resources to be as successful as they can be. My school is filled with dedicated teachers and we do the best with what we have, but are struggling due to constant budget cuts and overcrowded primary classrooms.
