We use Cardinal Bucks to promote good behavior at our school. On Fridays, students who have earned bucks for good behavior, or who have performed well in class, would be allowed to use them to purchase popcorn. Using popcorn as an incentive provides a healthy whole grain food that is low in calories (about 30 calories per cup) and high in fiber (about 1g per cup) and it is a much more nutritious than many sugary snacks. All students will be allowed to purchase popcorn, however, it would be at no cost for those who have earned behavior bucks during the week.
