I teach a class of elementary aged students with severe and profound multiple disabilities. My students are dependent on adults for all activities of daily living, such as changing, toileting, and feeding. Most of them come to school on the bus in wheelchairs and half of them are learning how to walk independently. My students are all non-verbal and need lots of picture visuals and speech devices in order to communicate with others. I like to use a variety of resources such as colorful visuals, tactile objects, and music to engage my students in classroom learning. They are a fun, dynamic group of kids with a lot of personality. Please support my class in my Donorschoose projects! We will be very grateful for any contributions!!!
