My fifth grade students are engaged in cooperative learning from the beginning of class to the end of class. They participate in hands-on learning through inquiry experiences, lab stations, partner projects, and so much more. Since most of my students are visual and kinesthetic learners, hands-on inquiry and discovery is the best way that they learn. Our school is in a diverse area culturally and economically. Each student comes to me with a variety of educational experiences but are all eager to learn. They enjoy experiments and projects in which they can create a product.
