I teach a 2nd grade classroom with 25 students. Of those 25 students 14 of them are boys and 11 are girls. I also have 13 students who are not proficient in English. The other 12 are proficient, but from a low socio-economic status. I have three students who are in a special education classroom for an hour each day, and 4 others who are reading less that 30 words per minute at the 1st grade level.
