I have 18 energetic students. I call them My Buttercups. Every one is unique in his/ her own way. They like dinosaurs, trains, dolls, computers, music, art, singing, reading and more. Some are leaders, followers, singer, dancers, artists and most of all characters. Our school has from Prekindergarten to Grade 8 students. We share space with an autistic unit and is surrounded by 3 homeless shelters, and one juvenile detention center. Most of the parents are section 8 recipients and 95% of the students get free lunch. Our teachers are extremely dedicated to the students that they serve.
