Most of my students are second generation immigrants who are determined to expand their horizons through hard work! Clearly, in terms of resources, my kids are challenged. For some of these kids, it is almost impossible to get to a computer unless it is provided for at school. At school however, these computers are limited. Computers to these kids mean access to amazing educational programs such as Mathscore, Newsela, , and Google Earth, that have proven to improve scores and essential skills needed to compete in an ever-challenging academic landscape!

About my class
