The materials that I selected will make a huge impact on the students in my classroom because it will expose them to a variety of rich print books. I use national geographic science books to further emphasize science standards and material that the students need to learn; National Geographic kids books are the perfect fit. I also selected multicultural books because students need to learn about various cultures around the world; it gives them a glimpse into other ways of living. Additionally, I also selected various book sets which allow my beginning reader students to dive into literacy. This is the goal.
