Our school is a Title 1 school just outside of Chicago. Almost 70% of the student body receives free or reduced lunch. Our students are a diverse group of children coming from a range of ethnic backgrounds. Our students work hard and we work hard to provide them with many new experiences and opportunities. Some of our students do not have many reading resources at home. They count on us to provide quality literature and to expose them to different literary experiences.

About my class
