The students in my class are bright and energetic "sponges". Their favorite times of the day are when they are able to work in stations with their partners. By working in stations, many of the standards of the Common Core are reviewed and practiced. The students are able to work together and help each other learn. Our school is in a rural area with many families who work in the fishing and shrimping industry. They might not have a lot of money, but they are rich in pride. I hope to provide activities/materials to the students which will engage and nurture the whole child.
