My students love to learn about their bodies! I have great opportunities on a daily basis to help kids learn about how their bodies work and look on the inside, and what might be happening when ill or injured. I also develop lesson plans to teach our students how to keep themselves healthy (hand washing, infectious disease control), keep themselves safe (winter safety lessons, wildlife safety) to name a few. I also develop monthly newsletter articles that reach our parents and families with important health/safety information.
