Hello! I teach first grade in Illinois. My school endured not one, but two floods this past year. My school went through so many transitions that my students felt lost and seemed to have nowhere that they were safe. My school also has over 60% of our students on free and reduced lunch. We are a small community and I want my students to have a brightly colored and inviting school environment.
