I would love to be able to give them iPads to take home. The students need the computers to keep up with programs, such as I-Ready and Reflex. I-Ready is a program that instructs the students on their academic level. They also need to meet their minutes of 45-75 minutes per week. This a number that is mandated by the district. Reflex is a program which helps them to learn their basic facts. They need three to five twenty minute sessions per week. These facts are necessary for their success in math. iPads would be a GREAT incentive! If I get them, I can let them take turns checking them out. I believe they would work harder in order to be able to check out the devices. What an incentive that would be.
