My students thrive on live specimen in the classroom. Our first big project will be coming soon when we get to explore the life cycle of mealworm's. They will get to experience the life cycle in front of their eyes with scientific observations and data collection. My school believes in real life experiences for every learning opportunity. We are a first year school with limited means, extending beyond is very tricky. I have seen/taught the baby chick expedition before and it is something every student gets excited for everyday. I would love to provide that opportunity for my crew. The love for learning is what I want all my students to have a passion for, extending our expedition to an avian life cycle will provide reading, writing, and math opportunities with excitement. Inspiring the love for learning is my number one goal; providing real life experiences in front of their eyes is magical.
