Our parents do not have to funds to help send in supplies for our class. I am at a new school and new grade this year and the cupboards are bare. I like to decorate my classroom walls with students work and without these supplies, it will be impossible since the classroom was empty. Students need to be proud of their work and want to show it off to everyone. I have a large English learner population and using crayons, markers, paper, and other art supplies makes it more enjoyable for the young learners to gain confidence in the school environment.
