Students in my classroom need the opportunity to tell their stories in more ways than just writing. Social empowerment is the change that will make the most difference for these students. Students no longer tell their stories that are often powerful. Pictures are more powerful than written words. These requested Nikon COOLPIX digital cameras will give my students the opportunity to tell their stories in a powerful way. Being able to apply these skills will help each student as they progress into middle and high school. These skills will help to give each child a voice that often goes unheard. This is learning in the most powerful way.
