My students live in an area where approximately 80% of the population lives below the poverty line. Every student in our school qualifies for free lunch because of their economic status. Many of my students endure through hardships that are beyond many peoples understanding. Through all of this my students prevail. They have become and will continue to become people of great character, who will change the world.
