My students are a motivated group of learners. They comprise of both genders and come from varied socioeconomic backgrounds. They are very diverse in their learning styles and not all students learn well through the tradition intelligences. My students learn better through building, creating, and hands-on inquiry activities. The hands-on learning helps them to apply concepts to real-life and this in turn helps ingrain their learning. My school emphasizes academics and character building. My school offers students an academic journey, it fosters a positive learning environment where students work in teams with adults. Involved parents and dedicated educators provide the right scaffolding for children to become life-long learners. Topics are taught in-depth and since the school emphasizes academics, content is taught in-depth, without the fear of pacing and curriculum restrictions.
