I work with about 85 students in grades K-5 in a gifted education pull-out program. We focus on critical and creative thinking. Our suburban school is located a few miles south of Washington, DC in a very diverse area - our school population is about 70% minority, 35% economically disadvantaged, and 20% are English learners.
