My students are typical 8th graders who are easily bored and not concerned with completing an assignment that requires them to write with the use of paper and pencil. They would rather be on an electronic device that is quicker and keeps their attention than working with pencil and paper any day, any time. They are distracted from the lesson due to the lack of technology that is limited or does not work. We are a Middle School serving students in 6-8 grade located in a low socioeconomic neighborhood with inner-city children.
