My students are bilingual students in a 98% Hispanic, low social economic school. They live in apartment complexes across the street from the school. Some students are fortunate to live with both parents although many are in low income, single parent households. Yet with these obstacles they face early in life my students show the longing to learn new things and to be successful students.
