My students are very diverse. Since our school is a magnet school, many students come from various backgrounds and have vastly different experiences and resources at home. Some students have access to books at home, while other students only have the chance to read at school. But all of my students have a strong yearning to learn and to read. All of my kindergartners want to achieve and become wonderful, fluent readers. They also, all love a good story. Reading is a time for my students to get lost in a land of imagination created by various authors, illustrators and great literature.
