My students are from different parts of the world that speak many different languages; such as Burmese, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Spanish. They are very eager to embrace the language while learning to read. I will be working with students from all different grade levels. Our school has an estimated population of eleven hundred students ranging from Pre-K to fifth grade. 80% of our students are economically disadvantaged and come from low SES homes.
