Our special education, life-skills class, is not always provided with the necessary resources to teach with differentiated instruction. In our low-income district, we are not given funding for materials. Students require a multi-modality approach to learning, and with these materials, I can help them achieve success with their individualized goals. With your support, my students can soar! Magnetic/dry erase boards will help them practice reading, writing, spelling and math. Reading comprehension notebooks will eliminate the need for reproducing materials and allow the students to claim ownership over their own, personal materials. We can also easily track progress by looking back in each student's book.
