The first day of school is usually a time of excitement and nervousness. For my Kindergarten students it was a lot of both. When it was time for recess, the whole class didn't know what to expect. What is recess? I tried to explain it to them as best as I could, that recess was a time to get out, stretch, run, throw, tag, drink, eat, dance, or sit. For our project we are requesting recess equipment and a Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker. The idea for this project came from my previous Kindergarten class. They expressed to me the need for a variety of items. We only had so much balls to share and the students wanted variety. They wanted hula hoops, footballs, beanbags, giant games, group games, and music to dance. I believe that with this equipment our students will be able to enjoy all the best that recess has to offer.
