My students are very concerned about learning English as a Second Language yet, they miss out on Digital Literacy. They are driven and very hard working. Most ESL materials at my school are grammar-based pencil and paper and teacher driven. Many of my students cannot continue learning at home because they don't have devices at home. In this technology driven world, interaction with updated technology will help them with their literacy skills. Technology will bring my language lessons into the 21st century. I will use iPads and iPencils during writing conferences while I’m in the Integrated ESL classroom and to teach my students in ESL Stand Alone. I will teach Microsoft 365, SWAY projects, video making on flip grid, and to telecommunicate with classmates using Zoom during ESL Stand Alone.
