High quality education; an investment that keeps on giving. I am a fourth year Civics and Economics teacher in North Carolina. The public charter school where I teach is in a highly impoverished community that has been rocked by the closing of factors and declining agricultural production due to a sustained drought. Most of my Seniors receive either free or reduced lunch.
