The literacy intervention groups I lead all read below grade level. I work with three fifth grade groups. One of those groups reads on a third grade reading level, and the other two read on a fourth grade level. I lead one fourth grade group (who read on a third grade reading level) and one third grade group (who read on a second grade reading level). These students are all motivated to improve their academic skills.
