Most students in our classroom come from an underprivileged background. Many of our students are not able to even afford the school's daily lunch. They slowly develop an ideology that they are not good enough to excel in anything because they are poor. The goal of our program is to inspire these grief stricken students. We push the students to excel and achieve through competitive robotics. When the students achieve success in the competition they are then inspired to pursue a STEM related career path such as engineering, teaching, or entering into the field of medical technology.

About my class
