If you were to step inside my classroom, you would find the most imaginative, hard working, outgoing, and precious first graders. My class of eleven bright students are captivated by literature and truly dissolve themselves into any book that is placed in their hands. Even students who hold a book that doesn't initially grab their interest, by the end of the story, they are able to dive into the text and see the story or central message in a different perspective. This love of reading and learning each of my students have in their hearts is something I cherish most of all.
