I work with gifted students from Kinder through 5th grade. Our school serves students in many different income groups, but is mostly middle-of-the--road socioeconomically. The students are mixed, as well, about half of each gender. I'm particularly trying to interest the girls in STEM concepts, though, as many of them seem to believe the stereotype that science and math are more suitable for boys.
