We meet for small groups twice a day in my classroom for Reading and for Math. My students LOVE this time with me and look forward to it each and every day! Recently, our PTA was kind enough to purchase stools for our classroom and we were so excited! We would really love to use the stools at a round table for small group time rather than sitting on the floor like we always have. Holding groups on the floor worked for us for a long time but my students love to be able to have flexible seating options while reading independently or with a buddy. When we have a group on the floor, that takes up a huge portion of our classroom that could be used for other purposes if we had a table!
