Flexible seating will allow my students to be able to choose which seating works best for them. I would like to be able to provide a learning environment that allows students to wiggle, move, twist, or rock, whatever will help them to stay focused and be successful. Let's face it, sitting still is almost impossible for a 7 year old or even an adult. By simply allowing movement, they are able to be engaged more easily and less distracted. I know it seems like a chair couldn't do all this, but it does. It will also be extremely helpful for my students who receive occupational therapy or physical therapy. Thank you in advance for helping to create a classroom that is going to be truly successful!
