My students are mostly Hispanic, ninth graders from poor gang-infested neighborhoods, and are enrolled in special education courses. I am their resource teacher, and I also teach their English and math classes. The high school we are at is going through massive budget cuts, and will not be able to provide us with the materials that my students need to get through their special education English class.
