My students come from homes very close to the poverty level. They do not get to visit zoos or museums. Even going on field trips is difficult for their parents to afford. I want to bring the outside world into my classroom by using technology to go on virtual field trips. My children often have difficulty maintaining instructional engagement. Using tablets during small group activities, will allow them to stay focused by using interactive video and diagrams. They will be able to watch tigers running and understand why they are one of the fastest animals on the earth. It all starts in preschool.
