I am privileged to have such a talented, eager, responsible, and "aloha filled" group of students. My students come from diverse backgrounds (Hawaiians,Tahitians, Filipinos, Samoans...) but have the unified goal of successfully earning a college degree after high school (the first in their families to accomplish this!) To reach this goal, they have individually elected to enter our 4 year AVID program and develop the the wide ranging necessary skills/practices. The task seems overwhelming at times but these students continue to advance via their individual determination.

About my class
