I teach level 1 FCAT 6th grade students both reading and math in a public charter school. This school is so beneficial and pivotal to the children's success because it is a very supportive environment. My children are so driven to become more meaningful and creative learners and most have shed their level 1 FCAT skin after our first benchmark. I know nothing will stop them on their quest to achieve at least a 3 on the FCAT this year and these iPads will help immensely. Even though I am dealing with 50 minute periods, I think that true learning happens in small group instruction. Due to the fact that my students do not have access to computers in the classroom, I am requesting iPad minis in order to create a technology center that helps drive my differentiated instruction.
