Backed by science this 200 hour digital training will give me the certification to instruct students and staff through wellness workshops. Training will be done on my personal weekends virtually through the months of Oct-March 2022. This will allow me to learn the skills to refine my knowledge in social emotional strategies under CASEL competencies. I will be able to teach inclusive and trauma-informed yoga classes for adults and students at our school. These strategies and techniques will help me to better instruct students and staff by helping them build a healthy foundation of mental health awareness for mind, body and heart skills to overcome traumas such as the pandemic.
