Junior Kindergarten is a tier of kindergarten meant to give four year olds who will not turn five in time for the kindergarten deadline a head start. My junior kindergarten class is made up of students from a wide range of academic abilities. They are energetic and eager to soak up all of the skills we explore. A large portion of what we do is hands-on so every inch of our small classroom is utilized for instruction, practice and independent learning.
