Currently our first grade classroom has 5 student computers that are over 12 years old. I cannot give you an exact age because they were here when I started working at this school 12 years ago! The students are rarely able to get on Accelerated Reader, much less the programs that we have for enrichment and remediation. My students are missing out and getting left behind when it comes to technology in the classroom. Reaching our goals that are technology research based is extremely hard when most of the time we can't even sign onto the internet. Please consider my class project for your kind donation. Help my group of diverse learners have an even chance when it comes to technology in a learning environment.
