My students are from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with many receiving free and reduced lunch. They are a very curious bunch of first graders who come to me daily, ready to learn. I am very excited for the goals this bunch will achieve. Our school is in southwest Houston and we service a very diverse population of ethnic backgrounds. I love the diversity in my classroom as they bring a wealth of diverse prior knowledge.
